Our client is going through a very busy period at present and looking for additional administrative and customer service support in their offices in Basingstoke.
If you have experience working in fast-paced customer service environments and possess great IT skills this may be ideal for you. You will have a confident telephone manner, great attention to detail and enjoy working in an environment where duties are varied. Full training will be given.
Duties:- You will be a helpful point of contact for customers, contractors, and trades staff mostly by phone.
- You will ensure the most effective and efficient booking and scheduling of appointments for works.
- Use an appointment/booking/scheduling system to update information and job progress.
- Check that appointments are attended and completed within set timescales.
- Reschedule jobs when needed, ensuring the customers are kept in touch.
- Process invoices and general administrative duties.
- You will be confident in the use of computer programmes and be able to learn new systems quickly.
- Able to work in a fast-paced busy role, so able to multi-task and prioritise workload whilst always remaining calm and professional, especially when liaising with customers.
- You will have strong communication skills with a great telephone manner and have the confidence to deal with challenging customers.
- You will have experience working in a busy, customer-focused role or administration previously.
37 hours a week (Mon - Thurs 8.30 - 16.30 & Friday 8.30 - 16.00). After training may be able to work 4 days in office and 1 day from home.
Pay:£13.50 per hour.
