As a Retail Deputy Manager, you’ll help keep your store running like clockwork, working in partnership with the Store Manager. Leading by example, you will help your team unlock their potential by inspiring our customers to read, learn, create and play more, through creating unforgettable moments, smiles on faces and products to go home with to craft memories they’ll cherish!

Your mission:

  • Stand-in for the Store Manager, taking responsibility for all metrics and the team if they’re away.
  • Foster a store atmosphere that’s enjoyable, welcoming, and inclusive.
  • Demonstrate progress in driving retail sales and achieving high performance across all key performance indicators (KPIs).
  • Drive retail commerciality, striving for fantastic sales and high performance across all KPIs.
  • Ensure excellent standards and impeccable merchandising, from cleanliness to pricing.
  • Lead and coach the team to provide an outstanding retail experience, ensuring each customer is delighted and inspired.
  • Utilise your product knowledge to introduce additional offerings.
  • Be a merchandising master, effortlessly placing products in both planogrammed and non-planogrammed spaces.
