Location: Our team office day at Support Centre is Wednesday - you can choose to work remotely for the rest of the week, or use the office.

Start Date: For this 9-12mth Maternity FTC, we're aiming for Wednesday 30th September as a start date, giving you plenty of time for an induction and hand-over before the Maternity starts.

As our Talent Attraction Partner for Support Centre & Distribution Centre, you'll be the go-to recruitment expert for these areas of the business. Reporting to the Talent Attraction Manager and supported by our Talent Attraction Coordinator, you'll lead recruitment activity from brief to offer, helping us attract and hire brilliant talent who are aligned to our values & behaviours, supporting our growth and success.

More than just filling vacancies, you'll build strong relationships with hiring managers, share market insights, salary benchmarking, and provide expert advice, coaching and recruitment training. You'll influence hiring decisions, champion best practice, and use data and insights to help managers make informed choices, ensuring every hire contributes to the long-term success of their teams.

You’ll also play an active role in Talent Attraction projects and continuous improvement initiatives, helping us enhance our candidate experience, employer brand, and recruitment processes.

Your Mission

  • Recruitment: Partner with hiring managers to understand the vacancy, team, function, superpowers within the team and identify who the ideal candidate is. Raise vacancies, manage the approval process, write the job advert and role profile, if required (for new or updated roles). Select, telephone-screen, and arrange interviews for candidates, whilst delivering an amazing candidate experience throughout - offering more insight on the role, function and business and screening against skill requirements, experience and values & behaviours. Own candidate communication experience through to offer or rejection.
  • Partnering: Partner with hiring managers and leadership teams across Support Centre and Distribution Centre functions to understand business priorities, workforce plans and upcoming hiring needs. Build trusted relationships with stakeholders, providing expert market insight, recruitment advice and talent solutions that support business objectives. Challenge and coach hiring managers to think beyond experience alone, hiring for potential, capability, values and behaviours that align with The Works. Coach hiring managers around the mindset of "candidates are our customers", ensuring every interaction protects and enhances our employer brand. Use recruitment data, market intelligence and hiring trends to influence decision-making and improve hiring outcomes. Partner with the wider People team to ensure recruitment activity supports succession planning, internal mobility, colleague development and organisational change initiatives. Proactively identify opportunities to improve recruitment processes, candidate experience and hiring manager capability across the business.
  • Job Boards and Toolkits: Review application and successful hire traffic sources to ensure we’re nurturing the most effective sources. Keep up to date on industry trends, news and recruitment best practices. Own ATS improvements and updates for your business area, keeping up to date with system updates and making changes as needed, with support from the Talent Attraction Manager.
