Location Hybrid: 1-2 days at our Support Centre in Coleshill, Birmingham.

The Junior People Data & Systems Analyst will play a vital role within the People Team, supporting the organisation’s efforts to optimise workforce data and provide actionable insights. The role works closely with the Lead People Data & Systems Analyst and interacts with stakeholders across the business.

Your Mission

  • Data Management: extracting, cleansing, and preparing people data for analysis and reporting.
  • Monthly and ad‑hoc reporting to stakeholders throughout the business, ensuring the data is accurate and reports are delivered on time.
  • Data Analysis: highlighting key workforce metrics and trends to support decision‑making.
  • System Administration: ensuring data integrity within all people‑related systems by routinely auditing and updating records as required.
  • Respond to data‑related enquiries and support stakeholders in the interpretation of reports and dashboards.
  • Ensure compliance with data privacy and security guidelines in all data handling and reporting activities.

Skills & Behaviours

  • Familiarity with MS Office; proficient in Excel.
  • Some experience with data extraction, cleansing or reporting (ideally in an HR function).
  • Knowledge of confidentiality and data protection principles.
  • Attention to detail and a thorough approach to data quality.
  • Good communication skills; able to work collaboratively with colleagues and stakeholders.
  • Highly organised; able to prioritise workload and manage multiple tasks.
