Responsibilities
- Inspire and develop employees, driving commercial performance and ensuring customers receive exceptional service.
- Own all aspects of store operations—including people, performance, standards, service, visual merchandising, stock availability and store presentation.
- Recruit, onboard and train new team members; manage rotas, payroll and other operational tasks.
- Maintain health & safety, cash handling and loss prevention compliance.
- Use data and insights to drive results and meet store targets.
- Champion inclusive teamwork, supporting a positive and supportive culture where everyone feels valued and developed.
- Collaborate with Area Manager, other stores and central teams to implement business initiatives and share feedback.
- Act as a Brand Ambassador, representing The Works through positive interactions with customers and colleagues.
