My client is one of the UK’s fastest-growing climate tech companies. They are looking for a Talent & People Partner to take ownership of all things Talent and HR as they enter the next exciting chapters of their growth. Your mission will be to ensure they attract and hire the UK’s best talent, in order for them to scale quickly. You’ll also play a leading role in building the foundations of their Talent and Cultural infrastructure to pave the way for years of ambitious but sustainable growth to come.
What will the role look like?
- You’ll be incredibly hands-on and cover multiple areas of the business, starting with owning talent sourcing and the full recruitment life cycle.
- You will blueprint what their HR policies will look like relevant to L&D, values & culture and building business in overseas territories.
- You’ll partner closely with hiring managers, providing expert advice and talent market insights as they scope their ideal candidate profiles and build out their future headcount plans.
- You’ll be their go-to internal expert for candidate referrals, employer branding and the ongoing management (and iteration) of their HR systems (such as Personio).
We think you’d be great for this role if...
- You have 5+ years recruiting for high-growth (ideally early stage, Seed-Series C) businesses, with most of that time working as part of an in-house talent team.
- You’ve been part of a tier 1 start-up backed by serious investors and you have the network to show it.
- You have hired extensively for both technical and non-technical roles, ideally across a range of seniority levels.
- You understand how to build thorough, trusting and successful partnerships with Senior Executives.
- You’re fluent in the modern recruiter’s toolkit, with deep proven experience with the basics and ideally take a forward-thinking approach on how to leverage cutting edge Talent Tech and sensibly applied AI to supercharge your day-to-day.
- You have an understanding and experience in putting together growth strategies, both in terms of people count and infrastructure.
- L&D, appraisals, performance reviews, perks & benefits, employer branding, employee engagement and HR operations are all familiar words in your vocabulary.
- The prospect of becoming a C-suite leader is something you aim to achieve in your career.
- You’ve used (or are excited to use) organic techniques to source talent that isn’t looking, such as hackathons, meet-ups, community events and more.
