My client is looking for experienced Structural Project Engineers to work on some very prestigious residential and commercial projects. Ideally, you will have a minimum of three years’ UK experience of structural design within residential and commercial buildings.
Each engineer has a number of projects and clients to manage at any one time with a requirement to meet the needs and demands of our clients and business goals. Candidates must be able to demonstrate good fundamental knowledge and understanding within the application and principles of structural engineering design. Quality deliverables and client satisfaction are at the forefront of our everyday responsibilities as individuals to ensure conformance to our accredited processes and procedures as recognised within the industry.
You will be expected to support the Principal engineers and Directors across the group. The role will involve mentoring less experienced members of the team to develop their skills and your own skills.
Essential Experience required:- Minimum three years’ experience within structural design including steelwork, reinforced concrete and masonry construction to Euro Code standard
- Proficient use of AutoCAD, Masterseries and TEDDS design software
- Producing detailed structural calculations and sketches
- Preparation of construction drawings and specifications
- Commercial awareness of costing, budgets and quotations
- Understanding of STAAD.Pro, SCIA and Revit
- Project management and leadership skills
- Willing to work towards or nearing Chartered Status
