We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Hire Controller based in Lymington offering a competitive salary and working with a fantastic team.

Role Responsibilities of Hire Coordinator:

  • Provide full support to your line manager ensuring all administration records are completed on time and accurately, while working closely with all members of the internal sales team.
  • Responding to incoming telephone calls and emails from customers, providing prompt and professional service.
  • Processing on-hire and off-hire requests using our dedicated hire management system with a high level of accuracy.
  • Preparing and issuing hire quotations based on customer requirements.
  • Coordinating with operational depots and the transport team to arrange equipment deliveries, collections, and exchanges.
  • Liaising with internal teams to ensure orders are fulfilled correctly and on time.
  • Maintaining accurate records of customer activity, hire information, and system data.
  • Assisting with checking product availability and supporting depot stock control processes.
  • Helping to resolve any service issues or queries efficiently and escalating when required.

The Ideal Hire Coordinator:

  • The ideal candidate will be enthusiastic and willing to learn.
  • You will have excellent customer service skills and a professional & friendly telephone manner.
  • Good organisational and time management skills are essential along with the ability to multi-task.
  • Due to location you must be able to drive and have own vehicle.

Salary - £27,000. Monday - Friday Hours are 8:30am - 5pm Monday to Friday. 25 Holiday days + Bank Holidays.
