We are pleased to be working with an established company based in Southampton which is looking to recruit a Warehouse Operative to join its experienced logistics and fulfilment team.
This is an excellent opportunity for an enthusiastic and hardworking individual to play a key role in the accurate receipt, storage, picking, packing and distribution of goods to customers across domestic and international markets.
Key Responsibilities of the Warehouse Operative
β’ Receive, check, process and accurately store inbound stock deliveries.
β’ Pick, pack and prepare customer orders for timely domestic and international distribution.
β’ Use handheld scanners and stock control systems to maintain inventory and order accuracy.
β’ Process and manipulate sales orders in line with customer and business requirements.
β’ Select appropriate courier and delivery services, balancing service levels with shipping costs.
β’ Maintain a clean, safe, organised and efficient warehouse environment.
β’ Work collaboratively and flexibly within the warehouse team, adapting to daily priorities and seasonal demand.
Key Competencies & Skills of the Warehouse Operative
β’ Previous experience in a warehouse, logistics, fulfilment or distribution environment is desirable.
β’ Strong attention to detail with a consistent focus on accuracy and quality.
β’ Confident using IT systems, with an aptitude for handheld scanners and stock control technology.
β’ Reliable, organised and methodical, with the ability to manage tasks efficiently.
β’ A positive team player with good communication skills and a professional approach.
β’ Flexible, energetic and willing to take on varied responsibilities according to business requirements.
β’ A proactive attitude with strong personal drive and a willingness to learn
β’ Forklift licence and GCSE/equivalent qualifications.

β’ Monday to Friday: Rotating shifts of 6:00amβ2:30pm and 9:30amβ6:00pm.
