The Work Perk are an award-winning brand promotions agency who create targeted reward campaigns across the globe. We are looking for a Payroll & Accounts Executive to join our team in London for a 6-month maternity cover contract, starting at the beginning of August.
The Work Perk strives to bring excellence, and our continued growth and investment brings exciting opportunities for the right candidate. We are looking for a new team member to work alongside and assist the Finance & Payroll Department. You will be working in a fast-paced team, with a constant workflow so will need to be a self-starter that likes to be kept busy.
This role will include speaking to sales staff, the CEO, company owners and senior managers daily. This will require strong communication skills via email and face to face and a level of confidence.
Day to day duties include:
- Monthly close (month end payments & reporting)
- Monthly payroll – inputting of payslips & raising payments
- Submitting payments on a daily basis
- Admin duties as required by management
- Account management with suppliers
- Monitoring cashflow
- Managing multiple currency bank accounts
- Bank reconciliation
- VAT returns
- Invoicing customers
- Inputting of supplier invoices
- Sales staff commission management

- Sage 50 Accounts:

- Re-Value banks
- Sage 50 Cloud Payroll:
- On-boarding staff to payroll systems
- Statutory sick pay

- Advanced Excel, Word, Microsoft Office & PDF skills are required also
