Shape Policy & Stakeholder Engagement for a Purpose-Driven Organisation

We're seeking an outstanding Public Affairs Adviser for a 12-month, on-payroll fixed-term contract with a leading non-profit organisation based in London. This opportunity sits at the confluence of financial services, public policy and social impact, making it an ideal role for a professional with solid experience in public affairs and government relations. As an integral part of the organisation, you'll play a crucial role in spearheading policy and stakeholder engagement initiatives, ensuring the organisation's voice is distinct and understood.

This interim assignment would suit a candidate with a robust ability to influence and build enduring relationships with key stakeholders, including government bodies and regulators. Your communication skills will be critical, too, as you navigate diverse professional settings, working closely with CEO & chair to develop the organisation's external voice. While experience in financial services or credit sectors would be beneficial, what's really important for this role is a deep understanding of the UK's political and legislative landscape, coupled with a collaborative mindset and the ability to work independently.

The role offers flexible working but you'll need to be in London at least once a week. A competitive benefits package includes a generous pension scheme.
