The Woodspeen began its transformation from a run-down country pub into a beautiful, contemporary restaurant and cosy bar. Designed with picture windows to take full advantage of the breath-taking views over the West Berkshire countryside and an open kitchen where you can watch the chefs at work, creating their delightful dishes.
We're looking for a friendly and professional Host/Receptionist to be the first point of contact for our guests. Your warm welcome, efficient seating, and reservation management will ensure an exceptional dining experience.
Responsibilities- Greet and welcome guests warmly.
- Manage restaurant reservations and enquiries and seating.
- Answer phone calls and provide accurate information.
- Keep the reception area clean and organised.
- Coordinate with the team to ensure a smooth operation.
- Address guest inquiries and concerns promptly.
- Experience as a host/receptionist, preferably in fine dining.
- Excellent communication and people skills.
- Familiarity with reservation systems (e.g., SevenRooms).
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Professional appearance and demeanour.
- Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
