The Woodspeen began its transformation from a run-down country pub into a beautiful, contemporary restaurant and cosy bar, designed with picture windows to take full advantage of the breath‑taking views over the West Berkshire countryside and an open kitchen where you can watch the chefs at work, creating their delightful dishes.
We are looking for an experienced and passionate Chef de Partie to join the kitchen team. The ideal candidate will have experience working as a Chef de Partie within a fast‑paced, high volume kitchen.
About the Chef de Partie role:- Food preparation, stock rotation and food labelling
- Ensuring high levels of Food and Health & Safety are maintained at all times
- Contribute to the development and planning of new products, menus, and promotions to enhance customer experience
- Carry out the smooth and efficient running of your section as appropriate
- Proven experience as a CDP
- Proficiency in diverse cooking techniques and cuisines
- Leaving Cert level education or above NVQ qualification or equivalent
- Ability to display a real passion for food and customer service
- Flair and innovative with menus and food presentation
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Exceptional attention to detail
