Project Steward (Part‑time Consultancy)
Help shape the future of London’s largest agroecological farm, the Woodlands Farm Trust (WFT).
Partnering with Sitopia Farm CIC, we are embarking on our Green Blueprint – a project funded by the Esmée Fairbairn Foundation to co‑create a transformational business, ecological, and governance plan that will be a beacon for healthy, resilient, and nature‑positive urban food systems.
Role Overview
Duration: 6–9 months (Part‑time).
The Project Steward is the heartbeat and orchestrator of this journey, holding the process together from “Dreaming” to “Launch”.
Key responsibilities include driving momentum, stewarding the budget, hiring specialists, and ensuring community, volunteers and community groups genuinely play a part.
Key Responsibilities

- Drive project momentum and ensure timely delivery.
- Steward the project budget and manage financial oversight.
- Hire specialists and coordinate their contributions.
- Ensure community, volunteers and community groups have a genuine role.
Qualifications

- Proven track record of steering complex, multi‑stakeholder projects.
- Deep passion for sustainable food systems.
