You will have some experience in a finance or accounts environment, ideally within accounts payable or a similar transactional finance role. You will be highly organised, detail-focused, and confident working with numbers in a fast‑paced environment. You will have good communication skills and be comfortable working with suppliers and internal teams to resolve queries. Experience using finance systems and Excel is beneficial, along with a proactive attitude and willingness to learn and develop. You will be reliable, methodical, and able to manage multiple tasks and deadlines effectively.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Processing supplier invoices accurately and in line with company procedures
- Matching invoices to purchase orders and resolving any discrepancies
- Supporting payment runs, ensuring all documentation is complete and correct
- Handling supplier queries and helping to resolve invoice or payment issues
- Maintaining accurate supplier records and ensuring data integrity within finance systems
- Assisting with statement reconciliations and resolving outstanding items
- Supporting month‑end processes, including accruals and reporting tasks where required
- Ensuring all invoices are processed in a timely manner and within agreed payment terms
- Working closely with Procurement, Finance, and other departments to resolve issues
- Filing and maintaining financial records in an organised and compliant manner
- Supporting audit requirements by providing documentation and information when needed
