The Women & Families Resource Centre (WFRC) is a registered charity based in Wolverhampton that supports, empowers and advocates for women and children. Purpose Of The Volunteer Role
Our charity shop raises funds to support services. The shop relies on volunteers. As a volunteer delivery driver you will collect & deliver essential items such as clothing, food and toiletries to local families in need.
Task Description
This role provides a satisfying and rewarding opportunity. As part of our volunteer team, you will collect and transfer donations for the charity, providing an essential service. You should have your own car and a full driving licence.
Principal Responsibilities
- Pick up / collect donated stock from donors.
- Deliver stock to the charity or to clients.
- Transfer donations between our donors and the shop or clients.
- Contribute to a non‑judgemental and safe space.
- Pick up supplies for charities.
- Ensure you understand and comply with WFRC’s procedures.
- Comply with the Health and Safety Policy, Data Protection Policy and protect your own and others’ health, safety and welfare.
- Manage the effective monitoring and evaluation of the service.
