The Women & Families Resource Centre (WFRC) is a registered charity based in Wolverhampton which supports, empowers and advocates for women and children. We aim to actively encourage women to be self‑reliant, through empowering them to identify their own needs, make their own choices and create their own solutions. We offer a baby bank, a charity shop & various community support services to help women facing crises or challenging situations.

About The Role

We are looking for a detail‑oriented and organised Inventory Associate (onsite‑Volunteer) to support our Baby Bank operations. This is a great opportunity for someone looking to gain hands‑on, real‑world experience in inventory management, data entry, and basic product photography while contributing to a meaningful cause.

Key Responsibilities

  • Record donated items accurately into the inventory system
  • Categorise items by type, size, age range, and condition
  • Take clear photographs of items for internal or online use
  • Label and organise items for storage and tracking
  • Update stock levels and maintain inventory records
  • Coordinate with the sorting team to confirm item condition
  • Maintain organised digital folders for item photos
  • Report missing or damaged items to the Team Lead

Commitment

  • Minimum 12 hours per week (approx. 4 hours per shift)
  • On‑site role based in Wolverhampton
  • Consistent attendance and reliability required
