We are seeking a hands-on Head of Group Accounts to lead the finance function across a group of property and related companies, including oversight of Purpose Group as one part of the wider group.
The role includes managing the accounts department, overseeing bookkeeping, VAT filings, monthly management accounts, cash flow reporting, intercompany reconciliations, year-end close and statutory accounts filing, while maintaining strong financial controls across the group. You will also work closely with directors and external advisers on reporting, compliance, tax matters and wider financial analysis.
The ideal candidate will have strong senior finance experience in a multi-entity environment, ideally with property/real estate exposure, and be comfortable combining hands-on financial control with team management and process improvement. ACA, ACCA or CIMA qualification is desirable, but not essential for a candidate with strong relevant experience.
