Woburn Abbey Gardens is seeking an exceptional Senior Gardener to support the Head Gardener in leading the care, conservation and future development of one of Britain’s most significant historic gardens. This is a unique opportunity for an experienced horticultural professional with specialist knowledge of trees and arboriculture to play a key leadership role within an ambitious team dedicated to horticultural excellence, heritage conservation and continuous improvement.
Working across the historic gardens, woodland, avenues, specimen trees and wider landscape, you will help ensure the Woburn Abbey garden continues to set the benchmark for the management of historic gardens and landscapes. Previous experience in horticulture and/or growing at home, along with a CS30 chainsaw certificate is essential.
