Overview

You will be working with children and young people with Autistic Spectrum Disorder and Social, Emotional and Mental Health needs.

Your role is to help them learn, develop their abilities, and raise their self‑esteem.

Responsibilities

  • Support children in developing learning skills and self‑esteem.
  • Apply your subject knowledge to individual pupils and build strong relationships with the class.
  • Collaborate with teaching assistants, therapists, and in‑house psychologists to deliver a holistic learning experience.
  • Demonstrate resilience, dedication, and a “can‑do” attitude as a team player who carries out tasks promptly.

Qualifications

  • Previous teaching experience in a primary or secondary setting.
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
  • Passion for teaching and ability to relate your subject to pupils with complex learning needs.
  • Enthusiasm and expertise in building and leading a department.
