Teaching Assistants at Witherslack Group support children and young people with Autism Spectrum Disorder and Social, Emotional and Mental Health needs.
You will work closely with teachers and therapists to facilitate learning, develop abilities, and raise self‑esteem.
Key responsibilities include
- Assist pupils in the classroom and during therapeutic activities
- Support teachers in delivering tailored instruction and behaviour management
- Collaborate with therapists to implement individual support plans
- Maintain a resilient, dedicated, and positive attitude in a challenging environment
