Responsibilities- Assist and connect with pupils, adapting learning to their needs and supporting their development.
- Support children with Autistic Spectrum Disorder/Social, Emotional and Mental Health needs to learn, develop their abilities and raise self-esteem.
- Be resilient and dedicated, celebrating small victories and maintaining a trauma-informed approach to help children feel safe and build trusting relationships.
- Work with children and young people who may show high levels of anxiety or display verbal or physical aggression, and support them as their rock.
- Adapt learning to ensure suitability for all learners and create a classroom environment where all children feel safe.
- Collaborate with colleagues and teachers to devise complementary learning activities and liaise to support department objectives.
