You'll also need previous teaching experience and Qualified Teacher Status. Up to £55,277 + Excellent Benefits.
The successful candidate will be expected to teach across a range of subjects within the Design and Technology curriculum, including Food Technology, Design & Technology and Art. You will be working with children and young people with Autistic Spectrum Disorder, Social, Emotional and Mental Health needs, providing support to help them learn, develop their abilities and raise their self-esteem.
As a Teacher at Witherslack Group you will receive support from in-house psychologists, teaching assistants, therapy professionals and a supportive team dedicated to building a rewarding teaching career.
Responsibilities
- Deliver engaging lessons across the Design and Technology curriculum.
- Support pupils with Autism Spectrum Disorder, Asperger's and Speech, Language and Communication needs.
- Build and maintain positive relationships with pupils, parents and colleagues.
- Adapt teaching strategies to meet the individual needs of students.
- Use a resilient and dedicated approach to overcome challenges.
Qualifications
- Previous teaching experience.
- Qualified Teacher Status.
- Experience or understanding of working with SEND pupils (preferred).
