Be a qualified Clinical, Educational, Forensic or Counselling Psychologist registered with the HCPC. The role is based at Bescot Hall School, an independent specialist day school providing high-quality education in Walsall, serving children and young people with SEMH needs, ADHD, ASD and related needs. You will be part of a multi-disciplinary clinical team and support educational and residential colleagues to provide therapeutic living and learning environments and interventions based on clinical assessment and formulation.
Responsibilities
- Assess, formulate and support the delivery of therapeutic interventions with children and young people with complex needs.
- Support the team around a child or young person to provide clinically informed living and learning environments and experiences.
- Act as a confident, engaging model, guide, leader and trainer for the team.
- Be highly organised and ready to take the initiative.
- Commit to ensuring the best outcomes for young people.
- Provide consultation, workshops, training and guidance to the educational and residential teams around our children.
- Work collaboratively within our schools and children's homes to ensure therapeutic support permeates education, care and support.
- Offer individualised interventions and engagement based on clinical assessment and formulation.
Qualifications
- Be a qualified Clinical, Educational, Forensic or Counselling Psychologist registered with the HCPC.
- Demonstrate experience with children and young people with complex needs.
