Salary: £29,034 – £35,400 (base) with up to £40,640 including bonuses for good attendance and up to 4 sleep‑ins per month

Working in our children’s homes means being part of a young person’s day‑to‑day life, supporting their social, emotional and mental health needs and helping them to become well‑rounded adults.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure the daily routine runs smoothly and the residents are ready for school and other activities.
  • Assist with homework, daily preparation and paperwork.
  • Plan and facilitate engaging activities, both daytime and evenings/wkends (e.g., Xbox, sports, film nights, go‑karting, etc.).
  • Support each young person’s individual needs, personality and potential, guiding them toward a positive future.
  • Maintain a safe, caring, and supportive environment for all residents.

Qualifications and attributes

  • Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare (or equivalent) preferred; we provide funding and support for those who do not yet hold this qualification.
