Registered Speech and Language Therapist with HCPC. Specialist with proven skills and experience delivering therapeutic interventions to children and young people with complex needs.

Responsibilities include:

  • Supporting teams around a child or young person to ensure clinically informed living and learning environments and experiences.
  • Acting as a confident, engaging, effective model, guide, leader and trainer.
  • Being highly organised and proactive, taking initiative.
  • Committing to ensuring the best outcomes for young people.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Experience working with children and young people with complex needs, including autism, neuro‑developmental conditions and developmental trauma.
  • Experience supporting multidisciplinary teams in educational and residential settings.
  • Strong communication, leadership and training skills.

Location & Role Details:

This role is based at Luxborough Court School in Essex and covers a maternity leave position for one year. The school provides high‑quality education for pupils with a primary diagnosis of autism or on the autism pathway.

Salary & Benefits:

Salary: £45,123 – £53,603 (including paid school holidays). Full induction and on‑the‑job training. Full school holidays.
