Working in our Children's Homes means being a part of a young persons day to day life. This means being there for the highest highs and lowest lows. Our team leaders enable our young people to get their childhood back and create pathways to become well-rounded adults — an incredibly rewarding role to have. There will be challenges along the way but there will also be the smallest moments which feel like a huge small victory!
Our homes accommodate young people with social, emotional and mental health needs, and our aim is to create the best possible outcome for the young people in our care. Our team leaders are fulfilled by the idea of affecting even the smallest positive changes in our young people, so we celebrate the little things.
Responsibilities
- Take care of our young people day to day, ensuring smooth operations and creating lasting memories.
- Support and oversee the staff team.
- Operate at high standards and be prepared to deputise for the Registered and Deputy Managers.
- Relate and build relationships with young people.
- Provide leadership that inspires colleagues.
What We Do for You
- Salary: Base salary of £35,400 - £42,664.
- Bonuses: Up to 3 sleep ins per month, paid at £80 per sleep, approximately £2,880 per year, plus attendance allowances up to £1,400 per year.
- Training: A full 4-week induction on our Care Academy.
- Holiday: 7 weeks holiday.
- Progression: Many team leaders and managers have been promoted from within; potential to join our Aspire future managers programme.

Candidate Requirements

- Level 3 Children’s Residential Care qualification.

Begin as a Team Leader with our Care Academy, including 4 weeks of training with WG professionals.
