Classroom Teacher

You’ll be working with children and young people with Autistic Spectrum Disorder/Social, Emotional and Mental Health needs. You’ll be there to help them learn, develop their abilities and raise their self-esteem. You will need to be resilient and dedicated, but those huge small victories that you achieve will be something you’re really proud of., * Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)

• Experience teaching children with SEND in a specialist school setting (desirable but not essential)

• Strong knowledge of effective relational behaviour management strategies for students with SEND, communication challenges, and complex behaviours

• Resilience, stamina, and adaptability with excellent interpersonal skills

• A positive attitude toward hard work and tackling challenges

• A genuine passion for making a difference in the lives of our students and their families

• Enthusiasm for working collaboratively as part of a dedicated and multidisciplinary team

• A strong commitment to student and staff well-being, aligned with our core values

• A proven ability to achieve positive outcomes for students

• Experience in creating engaging lesson plans and contributing to curriculum development, * Your ‘can do’ attitude – a team player who rolls up their sleeves to help others

• The ability to relate your subject to each pupil and build great relationships with your class

• Your enthusiasm and expertise to build your department

• You will need previous teaching experience and have Qualified Teacher Status
