Being a maintenance worker in our school means being part of something big. You'll be doing your bit to make sure the school building is a great place to be for our young people. You'll do all the general, day-to-day repairs needed to keep our school up and running, drive the school vehicles and keep them in good working order, as well as making sure the school grounds and garden are kept neat and tidy. You'll also be a familiar, friendly face, this means our young people will sometimes stop to chat to you so we'll give you some training on child safeguarding to give you that extra confidence!
Responsibilities

- Drive the school vehicles and keep them in good working order.
- Maintain the school grounds and garden, keeping them neat and tidy.
- Be a familiar, friendly face, offering a conversation and support to young people.
Qualifications
- Have some maintenance skills, either professionally or as a DIY enthusiast.

- Be confident taking responsibility for buying smaller pieces of maintenance equipment.
- Willing to undertake Health & Safety and other relevant training.
