Your Role

Ambition and Excellence for All

At Winsford Academy, our core belief is that students come first and that all children, irrespective of their background should receive an excellent education. We are looking for two exceptional candidates who will be able to lead and manage the RESET Inclusion Room where students complete work, access behaviour interventions and tutoring to close knowledge gaps.

The Inclusion Manager is a crucial role as we set to further decrease the number of suspensions and permanent exclusions through increasing our in-school provision so that students who would have previously completed work at home can engage with classroom work in a calm, quiet environment. The Inclusion Manager will be able to deescalate behaviour so that students that need a 'short stay', can RESET behaviour, reflect upon their actions and return to lesson.

They will work closely with SENCo, behaviour team and classroom practitioners to adapt resources, monitor progress, and promote an inclusive learning environment where all students including those with SEND, mental health challenges or who may have experienced trauma are able to thrive. WA is a fully inclusive school so ideal candidates will be passionate about social mobility and have a determination for all students to achieve their potential.

Benefits of working at WA:

  • High quality professional development
  • Regular training to develop classroom practice and inclusive teaching strategies
  • A generous and secure pension scheme
  • Cycle to work scheme
