The predicted salary is between 20250 - 24750 £ per year.
The successful candidate will have lots of interaction with the children and staff and be a crucial and highly regarded member of the team.
You will be responsible for preparing healthy and nutritious meals for the children within the nursery.
You should be able to demonstrate an up to date knowledge of essential food hygiene, experience of purchasing and storing food according to current legislation.
You will need to order and maintain stock control within the kitchen, preparing the nursery lunch and tea and plan what you will need on a daily or weekly basis.
You will need to ensure that the kitchen is clean and organised at all times.
Previous experience of working in schools or nurseries is desirable but not essential and an understanding of the importance of healthy meals and suitable alternatives is essential.
Ensure that all individual dietary requirements are catered for, in line with parental guidance.
You must possess the ability to work well within a team as well as on your own.
You will be responsible for hygiene and risk assessment within the kitchen area.
