We are seeking a caring, enthusiastic, and dedicated Senior EYFS Practitioner to join our thriving Early Years team. This is an exciting opportunity to support our youngest learners as they begin their educational journey and develop the skills, confidence, and curiosity that will help them succeed throughout their time at school. As a Senior EYFS Practitioner, you will lead by example, supporting the delivery of high-quality early years education in line with the EYFS framework. You will work closely with the management team to maintain outstanding standards of care, learning, safeguarding, and professional practice across the setting.
Key Responsibilities- Plan, implement, and evaluate engaging activities that support children’s learning and development.
- Act as a key person, building strong relationships with children and their families.
- Support and mentor junior practitioners, promoting best practice throughout the nursery.
- Monitor children’s progress and maintain accurate observations, assessments, and learning records.
- Ensure safeguarding, health and safety, and welfare requirements are consistently met.
- Contribute to creating a positive, inclusive, and stimulating learning environment.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues, parents, and external professionals to support children’s individual needs.
- Assist management with room leadership responsibilities and daily operational requirements.
- Holds a relevant Level 3 Early Years Education qualification or above.
- Has experience working with children in an EYFS setting, preferably within a school environment.
- Demonstrates a thorough understanding of the EYFS Framework and safeguarding requirements.
- Has experience supporting or supervising other team members.
- Is passionate about supporting children’s learning and development.
- Demonstrates excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Is patient, caring, and committed to achieving the best outcomes for children.
