Based at: St Mark’s CE Primary School, Alexandra Street, Newtown, Wigan, WN5 9DS
Salary: Grade 6, £21,316 - £23,522 per annum. 32 hours per week, term time working 38 weeks per year.
Required for as soon as possible - subject to satisfactory references and checks.
HLTA required to be based at St Mark’s CE Primary School.

Responsibilities
- Supporting teaching and learning in classes.
- Planning and preparing lessons when the class teacher is not available.
- Delivering support to small groups to help improve outcomes for pupils.
- Providing academic interventions and covering classes when the teacher is unavailable.
- Working with children in small groups.
This role would also suit a graduate who is considering undertaking a teaching qualification in the future.
