Windsor Forest Colleges Group is looking for a part‑time Sessional Welding Tutor and Assessor for 22.5 hours per week on a fixed‑term contract at our Slough & Langley College campus. The role pays £35.01 per hour.
Responsibilities
- You will be responsible for delivering, assessing, and quality assuring City & Guilds accredited welding qualifications within a practical workshop and classroom environment.
- This includes planning, preparing, and delivering high‑quality training programmes across welding processes such as MMA, MIG/MAG, TIG, and Oxy‑Acetylene, while rigorously embedding and enforcing industry‑standard health, safety and environmental practices.
- You will monitor and support learner progression, conduct weld inspections and testing to BS EN 4872 standards, and maintain the operational excellence of the welding workshop.
Qualifications
- Significant industry experience in welding and fabrication.
- Strong technical knowledge of welding engineering principles and engineering drawings.
