Windsor Forest Colleges group is looking for a Lecturer in Multi Trades to join our Structural Technologies Department at Slough and Langley College working on a full-time permanent basis. The role pays on the Academic pay scale between T1 £31,633 and T11 £45,341 per year depending on qualifications and experience. This role involves working 37 hours per week Monday – Friday.
The Lecturer in Multi Trades focuses on delivering high‑quality teaching, learning, and assessment for Learners studying a Level 1 Multi Trade Qualification. Responsibilities include:
- Preparing lesson plans
- Delivering instruction
- Setting individual student targets
- Conducting regular assessments
- Acting as a tutor, providing both academic and pastoral support to students, including those with behavioural and educational difficulties
- Maintaining detailed student records
- Collaborating with parents and employers
- Contributing to the development and quality assurance of the curriculum
To qualify for this position, applicants must hold a minimum Level 3 vocational qualification in a relevant trade sector and a Level 2 qualification in English and Maths. Experience teaching learners with behavioural and educational needs and the ability to embed functional English and maths skills into the vocational curriculum is required. A Level 4 or 5 Teaching Qualification is highly desirable.
