The Windsor Forest Colleges Group is looking for a Caretaker to join our Windsor College Team on a permanent, full‑time basis. This role pays between G17 £25,483 to G19 £27,284 depending on skills and qualifications.
Responsibilities:
- Supervise and manage external contractors tasked with cleaning and maintenance.
- Provide porterage, deliveries and support for event setup.
- Procure essential stock and maintain First Aider certification.
- Oversee Health & Safety protocols, including regular inspections.
- Conduct routine campus patrols and perform cleaning and maintenance duties.
- Respond swiftly to emergencies, support event logistics and security coordination.
- Manage access to facilities by unlocking or locking as required.
- Address security requirements and operate alarm systems during emergencies.
- Demonstrate flexibility to undertake additional related tasks and provide occasional support at other sites.
Qualifications:
- Valid First Aider certification.
- Experience supervising contractors and managing maintenance operations.
- Knowledge of Health & Safety procedures and ability to conduct regular inspections.
- Strong organisational and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and in a team, responding to emergencies.
- Possession of a clean driving licence is desirable.
