Base pay range
Windsor Forest Colleges group is looking for a Technician – Motor Vehicle to join our team at our Berkshire College of Agriculture campus on a full-time permanent basis.
This full-time position involves working 37 hours per week on an all-year-round support contract at our Berkshire College of Agriculture Campus and pays on Scale G of the Support Staff Scale (G16 £24,098.00 up to G19 £26,784.00).
Responsibilities
- Support learning through demonstrations, instruction, and supervision.
- Assist in the induction of students.
- Help lecturing staff with practical demonstrations and instructions.
- Prepare equipment and materials for lessons.
- Participate in events such as parents\’ evenings, recruitment, trade events, and open days.
- Maintain a safe learning environment by adhering to safe working practices, conducting risk assessments, and ensuring maintenance and servicing of all equipment and machinery.
- Manage supplies, parts, and consumables; keep practical learning areas clean and organized.
- Ensure a discrimination‑free atmosphere where students and staff can express individuality safely.
Qualifications
- Level 3 qualification in a relevant subject area.
- Level 2 English and maths.
- Experience working in a workshop‑based environment.
