Windsor Forest Colleges Group is looking for a part‑time Lecturer to join our Schools team at the Berkshire College of Agriculture. This is a permanent 0.6 position working Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday. The pro‑rated salary for this role ranges from £19,236.28 (T1) up to £27,572.23 (T11) per annum depending on qualifications and experience. The full‑time equivalent would be £31,633 (T1) to £45,341 (T11). Expected start date: Wednesday, 19 August 2026. Vacancy will close on 27 June 2026.
As a Lecturer in our Schools team, you will join an Ofsted‑rated ‘Good’ Colleges Group, working closely with learners to help them develop the foundational knowledge, practical skills and professional mindsets needed to succeed in Early Years education and achieve Gateway qualifications.
Key responsibilities include:
- Plan and deliver engaging, high‑quality lessons.
- Work closely with Learning Support Assistants to adapt teaching so that learners from all starting points can fully participate and make progress.
- Use regular assessment to identify and address gaps in learners’ knowledge and support improvement.
- Encourage attendance, support overall student wellbeing and embed core literacy and numeracy skills within the curriculum.
- Collaborate effectively with support staff and serve as a motivating, inspiring communicator for students.
