Windsor Forest Colleges Group is looking for a Lecturer in English to join the team at Berkshire College of Agriculture.

This permanent, part‑time position is rated on a 0.8 part‑time scale with a salary ranging from £25,306.40 (T1) to £36,272.80 (T11), depending on qualifications and experience. The full‑time equivalent salary range is £31,633 to £45,341.

The expected start date is Wednesday, 19 August 2026. Applications will be considered on a rolling basis and will close on 15 July 2026.

Responsibilities

  • Teach post 16 learners, supporting reading, writing, speaking, and listening skills for GCSE and Functional Skills qualifications.
  • Plan and deliver engaging lessons that accommodate a wide range of starting points and experiences.
  • Work closely with Learning Support Assistants to adapt teaching for inclusive participation and progress.
  • Use assessment to diagnose learner needs, address knowledge gaps and monitor improvement.
  • Encourage attendance and build learners’ confidence in English.
