Windsor Forest Colleges Group is looking for a part‑time Learning Support Assistant to support our 14‑16 provision at the Berkshire College of Agriculture.

The role is term‑time only, 20 hours per week across 38 weeks, with a regular schedule of Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday from 8:30 am to 3:30 pm (20 minute unpaid break each day).

Salary is £11,750.26–£12,580.71 (G17–G19) depending on qualifications and experience.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with planning, delivery and review of learning activities for whole classes, small groups or individuals in line with college policies and EHCPs.
  • Support students to overcome physical, emotional and learning barriers.
  • Assist with assignments, exam preparation and development of core English, Mathematics and ICT skills.
  • Monitor student behaviour, maintain confidential records and adapt learning materials.
  • Support use of specialist equipment where required and provide physical assistance for students with mobility needs.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Positive attitude, proactive approach and strong organisational skills.
  • Experience working with young people, ideally in an educational setting.
  • Understanding of supporting neurodivergent learners and those with additional learning needs.
  • Level 2 qualifications, such as GCSE Grade 4/C or above (or equivalent) in both English and Mathematics.
  • Flexibility to adapt to varying departmental needs, including online learning support.
