Windsor Forest Colleges Group is seeking a Lecturer in English to join our Slough & Langley College team starting September 2025. This is a permanent, full-time position.

Role Overview

As a Lecturer in English, you will deliver effective teaching programs within your competency areas, focusing on developing independent learners and facilitating student progression. You will work closely with Specialist Learning Coaches to support learners facing barriers to learning, helping them overcome these barriers to ensure high attendance, retention, and achievement. Your responsibilities include assessing learners from application through to progression, setting targets, and providing necessary support.

Candidate Requirements

  • Ideally possess a Level 3 or higher qualification in English
  • A recognised teaching qualification or willingness to work towards one within the first 2 years
  • Experience and knowledge of curriculum development and managing the learning process
  • Proven success in supporting learners to achieve high standards
