Job Overview: We are looking to employ a permanent Placements Coordinator to join our Sixth Form Careers & Employability team. Working 37 hours a week, this role is based across our Strode's and Windsor College campuses on a term time only basis working 41 weeks per year.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support students and employers while ensuring that industry placements are appropriate, safe and fully compliant.
- Lead on finding, processing and monitoring industry placements for T Levels.
- Work closely with curriculum teams and the Careers and Placements Manager to keep learners on track.
- Manage essential paperwork and monitoring tools that underpin professional development.
- Conduct site risk assessments, track student allocations and produce evaluative reports to ensure every placement meets high standards.
- Act as a key point of contact, handling queries from students, external organisations, and parents or carers.
- Build a network of employer partners.
Required Experience and Skills:
- Proactive and highly organised with strong administrative skills.
- Experience in a customer‑focused environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Google applications and CRM databases to maintain accurate records across multiple systems.
- Knowledge of T Level qualifications and Department for Education (DfE) requirements is an advantage.
- Able to work collaboratively in a team and build relationships with external partners.
