Willows Veterinary Centre is a progressive small animal practice with clinics in South Shields and Boldon. Following the recent refurbishment of our Boldon branch, we offer a modern, well-equipped environment where our team can thrive and provide outstanding patient care.

- Dedicated nurse consulting rooms
- Laparoscopic surgery
We provide emergency care during opening hours with no out‑of‑hours commitments. Overnight and emergency cases are referred to Westway Veterinary Hospital in Newcastle.
The Role
Salary: £27,500 – £29,800, depending on experience.
Work across the South Shields and Boldon branches on a rotational basis, 40 hours per week over 4 days between 8:30am and 7:30pm. Part‑time applications are considered for the right candidate.
No out‑of‑hours responsibilities. One Saturday morning (9:00am – 3:00pm) in 4 weeks.
About You
We are looking for a Registered Veterinary Nurse who combines strong clinical skills with a genuine passion for patient care. You will build relationships with clients, take pride in delivering a high standard of nursing care, and thrive as part of a collaborative team. Experience in nurse consultations, inpatient care, and surgical support would be advantageous, but the most important qualities are a positive attitude and a commitment to making a difference to our patients and their families every day.
