Are you someone who thrives on bringing clarity to complexity and enjoys seeing projects through from concept to delivery? Do you have a passion for Salesforce and want to play a key role in shaping how it supports our teams and workflows? If so, this is an exciting opportunity to lead the implementation of our new Salesforce Media Cloud environment and help drive meaningful change across the organisation.

You’ll oversee the delivery of our new Media Cloud org, including integrations with other platforms, working closely with our Salesforce Solution Delivery Partner. Alongside this, you’ll manage ongoing projects within our existing Sales Cloud environments, ensuring a smooth transition of data and functionality. Once the new org is live, you’ll continue to lead its development, collaborating with our in-house Salesforce Developer and external partners to enhance and evolve the platform.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Owning the end-to-end delivery lifecycle of Salesforce projects – from scoping and planning through to execution, testing and deployment.
  • Managing stakeholder expectations and ensuring clear communication across technical and non-technical teams.
  • Maintaining a structured and agile approach to project delivery using tools such as Jira and Confluence to track progress, manage change and maintain documentation.
  • Ensuring all work adheres to governance, compliance and data integrity standards.
  • Championing continuous improvement in Salesforce delivery practices, including post go-live assessment and “lessons learned” logs, under the direction of the Salesforce Product Manager.
  • Supporting post-deployment activities including training coordination and transition to BAU support as a key user of the platform.
  • Leading the successful delivery of a new Salesforce Media Cloud org, from inception to go-live.
  • Overseeing the migration of three existing Sales Cloud orgs into the new Media Cloud org.
  • Managing ongoing development of essential fixes and changes in the legacy Sales Cloud orgs until the full migration is complete.
  • Coordinating cross-functional teams including developers, admins, testers, external partners and business stakeholders to ensure delivery milestones are met.
  • Organising and facilitating workshops across departments to gather business requirements and convert them into user stories for the new org.
  • Producing regular project status reports including RAG assessments and budget tracking.

What you’ll need:

  • Proven experience delivering complex Salesforce projects, from scoping and planning through to delivery and post-launch support.
  • Experience with multi-org environments, including org consolidation and data migration.
  • Ability to translate business requirements into Salesforce solutions, working closely with developers, admins, and third parties.
  • Hands-on experience with Agile project delivery including sprint planning, backlog management, and iterative release cycles.
  • Previous experience managing Salesforce change programmes including bug fixes, enhancements and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Strong understanding of Salesforce architecture, particularly Sales Cloud and Media Cloud, including data models, automation tools and integration capabilities.
  • Knowledge of Salesforce best practices including security and scalability.
  • Project management tools such as Jira and Confluence.
  • Requirements documentation and processing mapping including user stories and data flow diagrams.
  • Strong communicator, able to translate technical concepts for non-technical audiences and vice versa.
  • Collaborative and inclusive, working across diverse teams and stakeholder groups which contain different experiences and skill sets.
  • Demonstrate gravitas when dealing with Senior Management and Executive teams.
  • Proactive and solution-oriented, anticipating risks and proposing resolution before issues escalate.

Company Benefits and Initiatives Include:

  • 25 days annual leave in addition to bank holidays – increasing by one additional day after 6 years, up to a maximum of 30 days.
  • An additional day of leave for you to take on a cultural celebration day or on your birthday if you like. A day for you! At William Reed, we call this our “MeDay”.
  • A volunteer day to take for supporting a chosen charity and giving back to the community.
  • Opportunity for hybrid working.
