The 50 Best brand is the leading authority in global gastronomy and the international drinks scene, showcasing worldwide trends and highlighting great restaurants from all corners of the Earth. We have offices in Gatwick, Brighton and London, UK; Montpellier, France; Singapore and Chicago, US. In line with the Company’s current Agile Working Policy, the successful candidate would be eligible to work part of the week from our Gatwick and London offices and to work remotely for the rest of the week.

If so, apply now, as we are seeking a solutions‑focused, organised and passionate social media executive to help support the growth, development and maintenance of 50 Best’s social media channels. This is the ideal opportunity for an analytical, creative team player who loves the world of food and drink; someone who is looking to develop their skillset working in a dedicated and fast‑paced team, within an ever‑evolving, global brand.
Some of the tasks you will be involved with are:
- Copywriting and creating engaging social media posts in 50 Best style across the brand portfolio
- Being involved in the ideation and creation of social‑friendly visuals, designs and videos
- Monitoring comments & DMs on social channels, including Instagram, Facebook and LinkedIn; flagging and escalating anything significant to senior team
- Responding in a timely fashion to all questions, comments and messages
- Uploading, scheduling / publishing social posts using Sprout Social and Meta Studio
- Assisting in the creation of video ideas and briefs
- Assisting on management of feedback on video and multimedia projects
- Assisting with minor video editing (for example Instagram Stories or Reels)
- Gathering social media statistics from events and campaigns for post‑event reporting
- Supporting with the creation of reports where necessary
- Assisting with general day‑to‑day administration tasks for the social team
- Assisting with gathering content from restaurants, bars, chefs and bartenders
- Contributing ideas to increase our social media audience base and engagement
- Assisting with trends research for new concepts
- Creating content for leading live international events (offering the opportunity for occasional international travel)
What you will need:
- Good professional experience in a similar role or experience in another marketing function and an interest in all aspects of social media campaigns
- Experience with social media platforms including Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn and TikTok
- A strong team ethos
- Good communication and inter‑personal skills
- Solid written skills with an eye for detail
- A good grasp of grammar and spelling
- Creativity
- An ability to multi‑task and still hit deadlines – organisation is key
- Proficiency in Word, Excel, PowerPoint
- An ability and willingness to travel occasionally, including internationally
- Experience using Canva and Sprout would be an advantage
- A love of food and drink, travel and hospitality would be beneficial
- Social‑first filming and video editing skills would be a plus
