Shift Patterns

  • Day shifts: standard daytime hours
  • Night shifts: overnight support
  • Sleep-ins: stay on-site overnight with support available if needed
  • Waking nights: actively providing support through the night
  • Every other weekend

Role Summary

We are seeking Complex Care Support Workers to provide high-quality, person-centred care to clients with complex and high-dependency health needs. You'll deliver specialist care, promote independence, and support the physical, emotional, and social well-being of individuals with long-term conditions, disabilities, or high-dependency requirements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver specialist care for clients with complex health needs, including PEG feeding, epilepsy management, and spinal injuries
  • Assist with personal care: washing, dressing, toileting, and continence management
  • Administer medication in line with care plans and legal requirements
  • Support daily living: mobility, transfers, and safe use of equipment (hoists, mobility aids, etc.)
  • Encourage independence and dignity in line with personalised care plans
  • Support clients' daily routines, hobbies, education, and community activities
  • Report concerns or safeguarding issues promptly
  • Participate in care plan reviews and contribute to assessments

  • Isabella Court: An 8-bed residential support service near Pickering, providing 24-hour support for 7 individuals with profound and multiple learning disabilities, complex health, and mobility needs.
  • Market Court: A 1-bed homely complex support service in Pickering, providing 24-hour support for a lady with a learning disability, epilepsy, and a spinal injury.
