The Wilf Ward Family Trust has been improving the lives of people with learning and physical disabilities since 1986. Luckily for you we have fantastic opportunities to join us as a Support Worker in Ripon.
You will be part of a friendly, motivated team, committed to making a difference and providing high-quality support to our amazing individuals. The individuals we support are absolutely at the heart of everything we do. The support is entirely person-centred and to ensure we can achieve this, our shift patterns include days, evenings, & weekends.
This role encompasses a range of tasks dependent on the individual’s needs. Day-to-day duties can include:

Accompanying individuals to appointments and community activities

Assisting with mobility and personal care
*
Supporting individuals with household tasks
*
Assisting with meal preparation and medication management
And most importantly, putting a smile on someone’s face!
We have a fantastic training programme that will give you the skills and knowledge you need to excel in this role. What we do need, is someone with a desire and passion for helping others, empathy, a willingness to learn and work as part of a team.
