Support Worker / Relief worker (Complex Care) – The Wilf Ward Family Trust

£12.41 per hour plus additional for weekend work

The Wilf Ward Family Trust has a fantastic training programme that will give you the skills and knowledge you need to excel in this role. What we do need is someone with a compassionate and caring nature, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, the ability to work independently and as part of a team and a willingness to undergo relevant training and development.

We currently have fantastic opportunities for Support Workers to join our team at two of our registered complex care services in Pickering, Isabella Court & Market Court. In this role, you will be responsible for coordinating and delivering specialised care services to individuals with complex health needs, ensuring that all needs are met with the highest level of quality and compassion.

Isabella Court is a lovely 8-bed residential support service quite close to the centre of Pickering. We provide 24-hour support currently to 8 individuals with profound and multiple learning disabilities and complex health and mobility issues.

Market Court is a 1 bed homely complex support service located in the heart of Pickering. We provide 24 hour support to a lady, who is diagnosed with a learning disability, epilepsy and a spinal injury.

We have a fantastic training programme that will give you the skills and knowledge you need to excel in this role. What we do need is someone with a compassionate and caring nature, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, the ability to work independently and as part of a team and a willingness to undergo relevant training and development.
