Shift Patterns
- Day shifts - standard daytime hours
- Night shifts - overnight support
- Sleep-ins - stay on-site overnight with support available if needed
- Waking nights - actively providing support through the night
- Every other weekend
Role Summary
We are seeking Complex Care Support Workers to provide high-quality, person-centred care to clients with complex and high-dependency health needs. You'll deliver specialist care, promote independence, and support the physical, emotional, and social well-being of individuals with long-term conditions, disabilities, or high-dependency requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver specialist care for clients with complex health needs, including PEG feeding, epilepsy management, and spinal injuries
- Assist with personal care: washing, dressing, toileting, and continence management
- Administer medication in line with care plans and legal requirements
- Support daily living: mobility, transfers, and safe use of equipment (hoists, mobility aids, etc.)
- Encourage independence and dignity in line with personalised care plans
- Support clients' daily routines, hobbies, education, and community activities
- Report concerns or safeguarding issues promptly
- Participate in care plan reviews and contribute to assessments

- Isabella Court - An 8-bed residential support service near Pickering, providing 24-hour support for 7 individuals with profound and multiple learning disabilities, complex health, and mobility needs.
- Market Court - A 1-bed homely complex support service in Pickering, providing 24-hour support for a lady with a learning disability, epilepsy, and a spinal injury.
