We are currently looking for a detail-oriented and dependable Payroll Officer to join our People Team and ensure our employees are paid accurately and on time.
Role Overview: As a Payroll Officer, you will be responsible for the end-to-end processing of payroll, ensuring compliance with all relevant legislation, company policies, and award conditions. You will play a key role in supporting both our finance and HR functions with accurate and timely payroll services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Process weekly/fortnightly/monthly payroll for circa 1100 employees
- Ensure compliance with tax regulations, superannuation, and employment laws
- Maintain and update payroll systems and employee records
- Prepare payroll reports for internal and external stakeholders
- Manage leave entitlements, deductions, and terminations
- Respond to payroll-related queries from employees in a timely and professional manner
- Liaise with finance and HR to ensure payroll accuracy and efficiency

- Proven experience in a similar payroll position
- Solid knowledge of payroll legislation, tax and other employment pay
